THE CHARITY CLUB WARM WITH LOVE HELD THE GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY OF THE BOARDING HOUSE

On the afternoon of April 22^nd in Tra Cang commune, Nam Tra My district, Quang Nam province, the Charity Club Warm with Love kicked off the construction of a boarding house for the main premises of Tra Cang Ethnic Minority Primary Day School. This is a charity project of the program "Build a school for children" sponsored by the Charity Club Warm with Love.

Attending the construction groundbreaking ceremony were the participation of Mr. Vo Dang Thuan - Head of Education & Training Department of Nam Tra My District, Mr. Nguyen Do Tri - Vice Chairman of People's Committee of Tra Cang Commune, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Principle of Tra Cang Ethnic Minority Primary Day School, Mr. Le Viet Ngoc - Vice Principle of Tra Cang Ethnic Minority Primary Day School, Mr. Nguyen Van Chuong - Specialist of Education & Training Department of Nam Tra My District, Contractor and Charity Club Warm with Love’s Representatives.

Tra Cang School is one of the schools in the mountainous area of ​​Nam Tra My district. The school has main and sub premises with a total of 28 classes, 591 pupils which are 590 ethnic minority pupils.

The school's facilities are still in short supply, such as the lack of classrooms, working rooms, and other functional rooms. There are 11 classes with 320 students in the main premise. 202 pupils among them study and stay at school until the weekend to come back their home because their house are far from the school which some are 25 kms from the school. Many teachers come from the plain areas who work at the school also have to stay until the weekend to back to their family. However, the current school boarding house of the main premise has just 6 rooms for teachers, only 4 rooms for pupils and 2 temporary rooms, so the pupils' living space is very cramped. The school boarding house is currently in deep deterioration and is located in a dangerous area on the side of the mountain where flash floods occur frequently. In the rainy season, the possibility of landslides is very high, affecting the living and resting of pupils and teachers staying at the school. They said every time there is a flood, teachers have to stay up all night and be on duty to evacuate when a landslide occurs.

Understanding the current difficulties of the school, after the survey, the Charity Club Warm with Love decided to sponsor the construction of a boarding house with 4 rooms (1 room for teachers, 3 rooms for students) in order to improve the facilities for the children of Tra Cang Ethnic Minority Primary Day School, helping them have a safe boarding area for peace of mind to study and to chase their dreams of a bright future. The construction works are according to the design documents approved by the People's Committee of Nam Tra My district in Decision No. 2184 / QD-UBND dated September 16^th, 2020 with a total construction cost of 998,671,000 VND, of which the donated fund of the Charity Club Warm with Love is 650,345,000 VND, the rest is contributed by People's Committee of Nam Tra My district.

Representatives of the Education and Training Department, Tra Cang Commune People's Committee, Tra Cang School's Representative, Charity Club and Construction Unit representatives performed the groundbreaking ceremony.

On the afternoon of April 22^nd, the groundbreaking ceremony of Tra Cang school's boarding house was successfully held. New boarding houses scheduled to be completed in July 2021 will contribute to solving difficulties when the rainy season comes. The pupils will be safer with a more spacious living space that contributes to more excitement for them to study better.
