2,000 CHARITY MEALS FROM THE CLUB WARM WITH LOVE HAVE BEEN DISTRIBUTED TO THE POOR IN THE ORDER ACCORDING TO THE DIRECTIVE 16th OF THE WHOLE CITY

After 1,000 charity meals of the program "Meal of Gratitude" conducted by The Charity Club Warm With Love in collaboration with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Tao A Ward, Binh Tan District, took place smoothly yesterday, Thursday, July 8^th, 2021, the club continued to receive a call to support the poor and disadvantaged people affected by the Covid-19 epidemic in Xuan Thoi Dong commune from the Standing Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Xuan Thoi Dong commune, Hoc Mon district.

On the morning of Friday, July 9^th, 2021, the Charity Club Warm With Love founded by Company Saigon Construction Corporation (SCC) quickly organized to implement the 2nd phase of the program "Meal of Gratitude" to spread love and support another 1,000 charity meals to Xuan Thoi Dong commune, Hoc Mon district at the request of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Xuan Thoi Dong commune.

As soon as receiving the call from the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Xuan Thoi Dong commune, Head of The Charity Club quickly reviewed and approved the proposal to support another 1,000 meals for the poor in the blockade and isolation area of ​​Xuan Thoi Dong commune, Hoc Mon district. It is known that on July 8^th in this commune, there were 126 positive cases of Covid-19, the commune's Steering Committee for Disease Prevention and Control blocked and isolated 1 hamlet My-Hoa-4 with 826 households around the Hoc Mon Agricultural Products Wholesale Market. This leads to many poor households such as street vendors, motorbike taxi drivers, lottery ticket sellers, etc., which are already in difficulty, are now even more troubled.

When the City advocates social distancing according to Directive 16^th, those people in difficult circumstances who have long needed support from charity food distribution points are even more miserable because these points have to be closed for epidemic prevention, temporarily not served on site.

Therefore, The Club quickly implemented the 2nd phase of the "Meal of Gratitude" program, organized a meeting place to distribute charity meals in the afternoon on July 9^th, 2021 to continue supporting 1,000 meals (total 20 million VND) for the poor in this "epidemic center" area of the outbreak.

"One piece when hungry is equal to one packet when full", with each serving of meal including white rice, savory dishes and soup, vegetables, The Charity Club Warm With Love has donated 2,000 charity meals with full quality and quantity to help and support the poor people severely affected by the Covid-19 epidemic in the isolation and blockade areas.

Previously, in December 2019, before the Covid-19 epidemic appeared in Vietnam, the Charity Club also conducted the program "Porridge of Gratitude" giving 509 servings of porridge and 509 servings of milk to Children with difficult circumstances at Children's Hospital 1 (HCMC). Not only is the activity of distributing porridge and free meal, the program also arouses the spirit of love and deep sympathy of the club members, with the desire to share a part of the pain that patients have to endure, and reduce the economic burden for difficult circumstances. At the same time, in April 2020, the Charity Club Warm With Love also donated 02 tons of rice to the poor, homeless people, street ticket sellers, street vendors, disabled people, and the elderly… in District 2 to support people firmly overcome the epidemic.

And when the whole country has to cope with the Covid-19 epidemic, in the spirit of joining hands with the whole country to prevent the Covid-19 epidemic, the Charity Club Warm With Love has donated 200 million VND to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; donated 1,500 antibacterial masks and 100 protective shields to Tropical Hospital; donated antibacterial and water-resistant fabrics to Ca Mau Provincial Union to sew masks for people to prevent epidemics; supporting the production cost of antiseptic hand sanitizer for teachers and students Dao Anh Quang, Hue College of Industrial; donated antibacterial cloth masks and antiseptic gel to Son Loi commune, Vinh Phuc province. With the 4th outbreak of the Covid-19 epidemic, following the message "Together against the Covid-19 epidemic", the Charity Club has just donated VND 50 million to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thu Duc City in the prevention of the Covid-19 epidemic on the morning of June 3rd, 2021.

And there are many, many more activities to share and help, showing the kindness, gratitude, and spread love of club members in particular, the people of the City in general, to overcome difficulties together.

This is the most difficult time that the disadvantaged, the unfortunate lives in society have ever faced to make a living and fight hunger, but it is also the time when we feel warm humanity, the spirit of "good leaves protect torn leaves".
