CHARITY CLUB WARM WITH LOVE CONTINUES TO SUPPORT PEOPLE IN TRIEU LONG COMMUNE AFTER THE FLOOD

On Oct 22^nd, 2020, when Charity Club Warm With Love visited and gave relief gifts to poor people seriously damaged by floods in Trieu Long commune, Trieu Phong district, Quang Tri province, witnessed the pitiful situation of the lonely family of two sisters, Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga and Nguyen Thi Sang. Two elderly women (Ms. Sang is 60 years old and Ms. Nga is 58 years old), have no family and children, depend on each other alone in a small house donated by the Red Cross.

With difficult living conditions, old age and weakness, the two women had to borrow 8 million VND from a policy bank to repair their dilapidated house. However, due to the loss of labor force of 84%, the two women have no income to pay the bank. Two women living in difficulties based on the support money from the state of 405,000 VND / month only for one person, but Ms. Nga's medical expenses were up to 315,000 VND / month, leaving only 90,000 VND for all living expenses for both and the medical bills for the other.

The recent flood made their house flooded by 1.5m, and they had to move for more than 15 days. The family raised 5 chickens. After the flood, there was only 1 chicken left, and the two women completely depended on the only chicken left to lay eggs to sell for a living. Facing the difficult and tragic situation of the two lonely old women, the Club decided to consider providing medical expenses for the two women of 5 million VND. On the morning, Dec 1^st, 2020, representatives of People's Committee of Trieu Long commune, Trieu Phong district, Quang Tri province include: Mr. Le Van Son - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Ha - Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee, Ms. Vo Thi Thuy - President of the Association Trieu Long Commune Red Cross - on behalf of the club directly donated 5 million VND to the two women.

Mr. Le Van Son - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Ha - Chairman of Fatherland Front Committee, Ms.Vo Thi Thuy - Chairman of the Red Cross Association of Trieu Long Commune - directly donated 5 million VND on behalf of the club. Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga and Nguyen Thi Sang.

The Club has decided to pay 5 million VND for medicine for the two women.

The Club also sent encouragements and wishes to the people of Trieu Phong in the coming time to continue to receive attention and support, especially policies to support economic development, stabilize production, help people to stabilize their life soon.
