OPENING THE TABLE TENNIS COMPETITION IN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE 4TH MANOEUVRES - 2018

The dramatic match between two table tennis players Hoang Long (SMC Saigon) and Viet Thang (SCCI) with the ration of points won to points lost being 4/3 officially started the Table Tennis Competition in the Framework of the 4th Manoeures 2018.

At 80:30 on January 7th , 2019, at Pho Dong Club – within PhoDong Village Urban Area, the Ceremony of the Opening of the Table Tennis Competition in the framework of the Manoeuvres 2018. After the Opening Ceremony, all athletes started their competition for the contents of men’s single and team in order to find out the most excellent players eligible to enter the Final to be held on Jan 9th ,2019.

The participants in the Tennis Table Competition are athletes from four teams: SSC, SCCI, SMC (Saigon), and VietUnion. The Competition will take place for three consecutive days (from January 7th - Jan 9th ,2019).

The close game match between the athlete Hoang Long (SMC Saigon) and the athlete Viet Thang ( SCCI) took place. Result: the athlete Hoang Long won with the ratio of points won to point lost 4-3.

In next matches, the athlete Quoc Viet (SCC) won Duy Nguyen (VietUnion) with the ratio of 4/2, so he won a ticket to enter the 2nd match to meet Hoang Long. The athlete Van Kiem (SCCI) won Quang Vinh (SCC) with a convincing result of 4 points won to 2 points lost.

The athlete Ngoc Hung (SCCI) was successful in the final sets and won the player Ngoc Huy (SCC) with the ratio of 4/3. So Ngoc Hung continues to enter the 2nd round where he will met Van Kiem.

The athlete Huy Hoang (SCC) scored a big win with a ratio 4 to 0 in the match where he met the competitor Thanh Tu (SCCI).

In the next match, the athlete Thai Duong (SMC Saigon) score a ratio of 4 to 2 before Van Nha (SCCI) so he has an opportunity to meet the athlete Huy Hoang in the 2nd round.

The match between the player Van Van (SCCI) and Van Tu (SCC) had many sudden scores. Result: Van Van won with a ratio of 4 to 2.

With flexible skills, The athlete Minh Tri (SCC) is evalued as a strong competitor in this year’s Table Tennis Competition. As expected, he scored an excellent win before Minh Trung (SMC Sagon) with a ratio of 4 to 0 to continue to enter the 2nd round where he will meet Van Van.

On January 8th , many contents of the competition will take place: women’s singles eliminations, men’s single semi finals and men’s doubles.

This is the first time in which a competition for Table Tennis athletes is included in an annual manoeuves, but the Competition has attracted many athletes who registered their participation and have positively trained for the competitin.
