FIRST PROGRESS UPDATE ON THE PROGRAM “BUILD HOME FOR THE VICTIMS OF AGENT ORANGE 2020”

Ms. Nguyen Thi Nau's family lives in Bich Loc Trieu village, Trieu Long commune, Trieu Phong district, Quang Tri province and is the most difficult and unhappy Agent Orange victim family in this poor village. A lonely 77-year-old woman relies on a meager allowance of VND 810,000/ month to support severely mentally ill son and daughter.

The house of gratitude that Mrs. Nau's family was awarded by The Charity Club Warm With Love, which started on Tuesday morning, August 18, 2020, is under construction.

With a total budget of more than 100 million VND from the club's fund and an estimated construction time of 1.5 months, The house of gratitude for Mrs. Nau's family is the first household to receive support from the program "BUILD HOME FOR THE VICTIMS OF AGENT ORANGE 2020", which is focused on deploying by The Charity Club Warm With Love. Thereby, the club wishes to show the spirit of mutual love, “good leaves cover torn leaves” of the Club and of the social community towards families who are suffering "pain from Agent Orange".

Mrs. Nau’s house used to be rickety, ramshackle, leaky and moldy, causing the wall to be seriously damaged and in danger of collapsing at any time.

Almost nothing in the house is intact.

The Charity Club Warm With Love wishes Mrs. Nau's family will be soon back to a solid and safe house to stabilize life.

The extension of the back of house has now been completed, the construction team is working to demolish and continue to speed up the completion to complete within the expected time of 1.5 months.
